* We would have won if our qb didn't get hurt.
* It was in the low 60's for the game. Our Florida boys just aren't used to that type of cold.
* The game started at 10:30. GOL makes they boys go to bed a 8 PM.
* Its the players fault. Running 100% of the time on first down is a totally legit game play. The players just didn't execute.
* The air is drier out west. It was hard for our qbs to adjust their throwing motion in drier air.
* FS1 has too many commercials that were killing momentum.

Let me start by saying I didn't think we were going to win this game to begin with. I thought we'd lose 31-21. I thought the only way we had a chance was holman making some plays with his arm and feet. When he left, i immediately changed my score prediction to 31-3. I was close. With holman out the rest of this season is going to be ugly....real ugly. 4-5 wins is likely, and i think that is the cieling. Holman was the one player we absolutely needed healthy 100% of this season. I guess dontravious wilson was hurt as well? Basically taj mcgowan got all the carries. So nect week we play a true freshman qb and running back....yikes.

It was only a matter of time before the D got tired.

We put the freshmen in. That's all we can do ... for the future. Real game experience.

Dontravius Wilson lacks talent and thats unfortunate because he at least tried. William Stanback is the biggest disappointment in UCF history.

I think that might be a bit of a stretch. He was some 2-STAR recruit nobody wanted. See the three 4-star juco players kruczek recruited for candidates for most underachieving.

The performance of this game exceeded my expectations. We made some plays, had a great defensive scheme. Sure, lot to be improved on, but there was an improvement. Better than the alternative of regression , or stagnation from that shit show last week.

That Stanford team is loaded with 4* and few 5* blue chipper upperclassmen. I thought our YOUNG team hung with them better than expected and have a lot to be proud of. They keep playing like that and getting better and better, we'll be in great shape next year.

Despite the score the d-line far exceeded my expectations. Shaquill Griffin hung with a legitimate speedster and possible NFL talent for most of the night. Drico was unreal with his sideline to sideline. The D-line held up a possible first round NFL QB most of the night. I look forward to their progression this year and I am excited for next year. Like some have said I would have liked less predictability and more creativity on offense. Play action once in a while or run a screen to keep the Defense honest. When the opposing side knows your running its easy for them to stack the box. I'd like to have a rematch next year with a healthy more experienced team.

We are immensely talented at DB. We have 4 star guys or they should have been. Just wait and see. Mark my words

The defense did their job, just like against FIU. At some point, they literally got worn out due to our offense not staying on-the-field. Even the young secondary has stepped it up! It's definitely not a conditioning issue.
