Both were beloved by the players. Every single game the players worked their asses off for Tyson and Kirk. Hell these coaches knew how to fire players up and develop them. It showed on the field. Instead of replacing them George, the arrogant prick that he is, decided to replace them with tweedle dee and tweedle dumb. That being Chuck "I've been fired by a nfl team, a division 1 program, and a cfl team" Bresnahan and Travis Fisher.

I personally gave Tyson crap for the D missing tackles the first 4 games of last season. D isn't our problem this year. It's all on the offense.

O'Leary never had a defense that ranked in the top 10 in regular and advanced metrics before summers took over. Plus he developed Plummer and Troy.

I enjoy stats as much as the next guy but I disregard them when I can look a DC, a intimidating guy at that, in the eyes and say we have poor tackling through 4 games. And he knew I was right. I really like Tyson but he wasn't at UCF long enough to define an era.
