Our opening game is now on Thursday, September 3rd. Looks like they found a way to make our home schedule even worse. Now most of the out of towners won't go and the fans with young kids.

I actually think its good for those who were going to leave town for the Labor Day Weekend.

Stupid fuking UCFAA. Hope all the out of towners enjoy watching an internet feed on ESPN3 instead of attending in person. Heaven forbid UCFAA having to work a holiday weekend like every other athletic department in the country. Fuk the fans, we need our three days off!!!

Is this UCFAA's way of not having pony up the holiday pay? ESPN3 on a Thursday? Ugggg ... But my tablet hooks up to my giant TV and I live in CA, so I was not likely to make the game anyway...

A noon game in the sun in September is not good either for many reasons
such as:
1) those who party don't really want (need) to start drinking at 9AM;
2) those who go to the spring football game know what the WOK experience in the sun
at BHNS is like and it's brutal.

The supposed die-hard fans (and GOL) earlier were saying how horrible it was to miss out
on national attention this season. Now we are positioned to get national TV attention
before any other teams. Which is most important? Can't have it both ways (my comfort / Saturday game
or what's best for program).

Note: This gives all a good excuse for making the labor day weekend longer!
Use your UCF education and take that day (plus Friday) off from your good job
and be thankful :)

I actually like it. I'll take part of Friday off and have the weekend free. But I can understand people with kids and different schedules (and wanting all day tailgating)

Pro: I don't normally go to the office on Fridays, so a Thursday night game doesn't bother me personally. And, hey, it's a UCF home football game . . . it's worth it!

Cons: I would need to leave work early on Thursday. Also, my kid (if he went with me to the game) might be tired at school the next day.

Considering that I've missed very few home games in the last 18 or 19 years, chances are high that I will be there. I'd love it if we filled every seat in the stadium that night. I would like the attendance to far exceed my expectations.

I'm off on Friday, so I like the idea of a Thursday night game. It's a holiday weekend. If I decide to do something else for the weekend, I can. I think more folks will have the chance to go because they're weekend plans might not be interrupted.

Anything that avoids a September game in 90-95 degree heat is a great idea.

Game will be on CBS Sports Network...Also...remember that UCF doesn't have any control of schedule...if TV partners want the game, UCF is at their mercy.

If it is between Saturday noon or Thursday night, i'll take Thursday night. Downside is I can't stay for the whole game with kids.
