Maybe I'm wrong, but I really haven't seen much effort from the Orlando Magic (or its players) to show any sort of support for UCF. Is it necessary for them to do so? Not really, I suppose. The whole "Team Orlando" stuff was UCF's push. Maybe there's a disconnect somewhere, not sure, and maybe the following isn't the best to compare it to. I follow most Cincinnati Twitter sports accounts (UC, Reds, Bengals) and often see the those pro teams pumping up UC. To that end, the Reds don't just show support for UC - they show love for Ohio State and Kentucky as well. They have had nights where they honor those teams. They've had Urban Meyer throw out the first pitch (he was included in the All-Star Game festivities) and John Calipari and UK was honored a few weeks ago too.
