They are just really excited this year because they are better than us.

Scary thing is that this USF player is the 3rd FL College player arrested on gun charges in a week...as his teammate Knox was arrested last week on multiple gun charges and obviously UF player Porter, who was arrested on 4 felony charges too.

All 3 were charged with discharging a gun either on-campus and/or after threatening a girlfriend...so one has to wonder how many other teammates at those schools also have guns on-campus too but haven't do something stupid yet so they have yet to be arrested (and/or harmed someone).

I remember in 03 here at UCF our starting CB Omar Laurence was arrested for having a damn 7.62mm rifle in his trunk when he got pulled over on campus. Crazy days before GOL. At least we never had to deal with any of this as of late.

Sadly, few years later, Laurence was found guilty of a New Year's Eve Murder and was given a Life Sentence.

Really? I didn't know that. Wow. I used to play basketball with him all the time at the rec. Seemed like a cool dude. I remember when the football players would play the basketball team in pickup games. Insane! One moment was when Dexter Lyons banged on Laurence with a sick breakaway two-hand dunk. Gym went crazy.

But I digress. Sad to hear about him now.
