Alot would need to fall into place but i like the idea of a mega coast to coast conference. That scenario would at least mean we are apart of the 3rd strongest conferenceNo Bulls, Memphis, WSU, or OSU. First 2 will lower SOS for the conference, 2nd 2 bring nothing either (fan bas, recruiting area). Both AZ schools, Utah, and CU, who can bring the Denver area. Leave the AAC schools alone. Pick up 2-4 of ACC schools after SEC takes Clemson, FSU, Miami, + one more (NC?). Big 10 will probably snag ND, Oregon, Washington, and NC/Stanford. Big 12 should then pickup 4: GT, NC State, VT/UVA, and Pitt/BC. That would give lots of recruiting potential all the way up the east coast and most of the western US.
I don’t think they are realistically on the table. I didn’t put a lot of schools on here, just ones that I think will join if offered.Oregon and Washington have to be 1 & 2.
They are realistically on the table. Big 10 has to actually want them and as of right now they do not. If we take 4 more teams from the PAC they aren’t going to have a lot of options.I don’t think they are realistically on the table. I disagree. They might be on the table once we poach 4 teams, but I don’t think we can just offer those two and land them. They are realistically on the table. Well yes it would take us poaching teams 1st.I disagree. They might be on the table once we poach 4 teams, but I don’t think we can just offer those two and land them.
This may sound too "Old School" for many of you, but IMHO, the very essense of CFB are its rivalry games -- and the more intense they are, the better. No Bulls...
i am all about the tradition and the rivalry. But college football as we knew it is dead. Dead. May as well say your last respects to that and understand that the dollar rules now and you are either in or out. This may sound too "Old School" for many of you, but IMHO, the very essense of CFB are its rivalry games -- and the more intense they are, the better.
If you want to poo-poo the "WAR ON I-4," and some of the classic battles you've played in the past, that's fine. But I've got a sneaking suspicion you'll discover after it's all over and done with that you miss the chance to beat up on the Bulls in your end-of-the-season rivalry game.
Won’t miss it if they are replaced with someone better. WVU would be my choice. Their fans would make it easy to hate them. This may sound too "Old School" for many of you, but IMHO, the very essense of CFB are its rivalry games -- and the more intense they are, the better.

FWIW, Colorado has cooler football unis.Memphis has more value in my opinion in Basketball and Football than Colorado.
I do enjoy beating up on the Bulls but they will do nothing to boost the stature of the Big 12 and most certainly wouldn’t help our recruiting Florida players. Why would we want to further water down the availability of local players, especially if FSU and/or Miami end up in the SEC? Sorry but other than fun they bring nothing to the table we don’t already have. This may sound too "Old School" for many of you, but IMHO, the very essense of CFB are its rivalry games -- and the more intense they are, the better.

I’d much rather road-trip to Boulder than Memphis!FWIW, Colorado has cooler football unis.![]()

I’d rather have Tampa. Colorado has only had 2 winning seasons since 2006 and one was 4-2 Covid year. Also they “big timed” the B12 before. Take 3 and the Bulls.I’d much rather road-trip to Boulder than Memphis!
I think we all love the War on I4 and it’s return would be a consolation if we ended up in the same conference again. This may sound too "Old School" for many of you, but IMHO, the very essense of CFB are its rivalry games -- and the more intense they are, the better.

Same. Can drink some good denver craft brew as opposed to schlitzI’d much rather road-trip to Boulder than Memphis!
Isn't WVU already in the conf?

I would be fine with Memphis coming in the over load of teams to the WEST is concerning for the long term. But for now they need to take the best teams available. Not usf under any circumstances.....we already have a Kansas football team.
Utah and the two Az teams yes, although Oregon and Washington should be the first options.
Colorado is a wildcard. While it’s good business to lock down the best brand in the state and a previous National Champion, their program has been down for so long.
Other than Memphis, no other G5’s are qualified here and would give us another near East coast team.
They are a better team for us......Colorado does nothing for UCF, we should be concerned about the island we are on. There is a reason the P12 wanted us cut, and unlike BYU, it has nothing to do with school politics.I would be fine with Memphis coming in the over load of teams to the WEST is concerning for the long term. Keep in mind, Colorado left B12 to go to PAC 12
If I recall, they bolted bc TEXAS controlled everything B12. With TX out of the fold, it shouldnt be an issueDoes this matter to folks? I don't really care and think if fans of the B12 are still pissed about it they should look forward to crushing them on the field regularly. It's an obvious geographic/historic fit in a very good TV market that would be amazing for road trips. Every school is going to jump if they get a better offer, so the loyalty argument just doesn't seem to matter to me.
Replace Colorado with Utah and Stanford won't join so add Arizona.OREGON, WASHINGTON, STANFORD, COLORADO
If Oregon and Washington leave wouldnt they have to? Else the go independent or MWC?Replace Colorado with Utah and Stanford won't join so add Arizona.
UWCF has 1 (ONE) FBS win in two years. Don’t see much difference except Buffs are badder than Bulls!🤣I’d rather have Tampa. Colorado has only had 2 winning seasons since 2006 and one was 4-2 Covid year. Also they “big timed” the B12 before. Take 3 and the Bulls.
Lmao the bulls program really stays winning don't they?*This is the Program that some of our fans want to naively elevate…and they are still this smug and arrogant after getting left behind
2026. Very seriously doubt that but regardless, we’ll be in our 2nd year in a P5(P3?) conference, hosting games in our 50,000+ stadium against teams like Baylor and Oklahoma State, while FAU is ruining their opening day! This is the Program that some of our fans want to naively elevate…and they are still this smug and arrogant after getting left behind
