Yesterday, I did a tailgate project for NFL Films so we had to do some fun spots with both Bucs and Bills Fans while tailgating for their "hopeful" playoff run.
I've had friends who were from Rochester, Buffalo and Syracuse who were died hard fans and we all have seen some Bills away games with tons of Bills fans in attendance but their #billsmafia is quite impressive to see it in-person.
One Bucs fan we were shooting, who was surrounded by hordes of Bills Mafia tailgating said "how did all of these Bills Fans get tickets?" I told him just how important the team is to that region of the country and having a road game in Tampa (a rarity for them) and IN December...made this a must trip for so many, regardless of tix price.
It was an added bonus that the weather was sooooooooo nice and warm yesterday as we met many Bills Fans who were at last Monday night's game when it was in the 30s with 40 plus mph wins with freezing sleet/rain/wet snow.
PS. Yes, Bills Fans do crush tables...even in Tampa too!
Note: I've been to 2 Bills Home Games in then "Rich" Stadium...and their tailgate game has always rivaled the best college tailgates around.
