Calipari reportedly wants 10-year, $120M deal to even consider Nets job

After firing head coach Lionel Hollins and reassigning general manager Billy King, Brooklyn Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov has made it clear that he wants the franchise to be heading in a different direction. Who will actually be leading the Nets in this new direction remains unclear, as Brooklyn currently doesn't have a GM and are reportedly asking King to help with the search to find his successor.

Now without any front office leadership, the Nets are thinking of luring University of Kentucky head coach John Calipari back to the franchise. Calipari coached the Nets in the late 90s but was fired after three seasons. He has been at Kentucky since 2009 and seems perfectly content there, often shooting down any NBA rumors he's associated with.
