After CBS had the lowest Florida/Georgia TV ratings in a decade (still very good for most other games), Week 8 continued TV rating domination by CBS' main competitor, ESPN/ABC.
The SEC on CBS has now failed to top the charts in eight of nine weeks this season, after doing so nine times in 13 tries last year.
Compared to last year’s Florida/Georgia game, which took place on week later in the season, the Gators’ rout declined 15% from last year (4.0). Overall, the 3.4 is tied with 2013 as the lowest for the rivalry in the metered markets in at least a decade.
