First I will tell you that getting older sucks!

Monday evening I was hooking up a new tank on my grill, stood up and suddenly had pain shoot from my left butt cheek to my outer left calf. It was so bad I collapsed, my leg could not hold me up.

I sat for a few mins and managed to hobble back inside. Two days later and I am still having difficulty walking the pain in my calf is still bad, and I still feel it on the left side of my butt as well. It’s funny that it sort of skips the thigh.

I am assuming I did something to my Sciatic nerve. Here is the question, other than taking Aleve and some Hydrocodone I had left from getting a tooth pulled what can I do for this? Also would you go see an orthopedic or a chiropractor if it doesn’t get better in a day or two?
