OT: Juwon Howard is not a good coach and should be fired.

Yea man, I just read/watched that. Horrendous. Guy should at least be suspended for the rest of the season.
He’s a bad coach anyway. This just gives them a reason without a buyout.

Keep him and you lose a lot of power over your athletes. Can't throw a player off the team for violent incidents when his HC is punching people on national TV.
Frankly, with them unlikely making it far in Big 10 tourney, and not making it to March Madness, this would be a perfect opportunity to make a statement disciplinary action, may as well publish a suspension for the "remainder of the year"... Else, this teaches the kids it's "ok" to lash out at instigators, slap on the wrist penalties.
Highly unlikely Juwon won the big 10 last year and was AP, Sporting News and Big 10 coach of the year last year. He has great contacts within the NBA to get his players drafted and great contacts with boosters. While I don’t condone what he did (especially after he had a similar incident with Mark Turgeon) I don’t see Michigan firing him.
Maybe but I think the announcers were commenting that Howard didn't get in the handshake line which was a sign he was pissed before jumping in the line.
I don’t think him having contacts in NBA will get Michigan players drafted that ordinarily wouldn’t have.
I think him being on Pat Riley’s staff would certainly help Michigan players get a look where they might not have otherwise aka Duncan Robinson.

It’s hard to believe the Michigan fab five “time-out“ happened almost 30 years ago. Jeez, I’m getting old!
Wisconsin coach broke-out the situation in his post-game. I agree with him. Why do these coaches get so upset over stuff like this anyways? Michigan was getting a beatdown. Maybe Howard should be more upset about his teams play for the other 39 minutes and like 45 seconds.
