As long as the Slant doesn't make coverage of UCF sports a higher priority, I won't feel much compulsion to buy their newspaper.

I'm sure Tebow will be on the front page tomorrow after his 4th quarter 3rd string play today. But, no mention of Blake or UCF. Whatever...we have been down this road before....

Look, I admire Tim and his devotion to his religious faith. His story is news-worthy. However, I feel Bortles' story deserves to get a great deal of coverage in the Orlando media as well. He was the 3rd pick in the 1st round of the NFL draft. I don't know why in the hell he's been so overlooked.
And of course Tebow is on the front page of the slant on-line for scoring a TD against the Colts. I guess he sells ads and newspapers.
If you want proof of lame-ass UCF hating Duh*Slant go read Wet-Blanket George Diaz's recent article on UCF. NO link provided as that guy sucks at writing and his hatred for all things UCF is confusing and profound for me. What a d*ck. Why does the local rag hate the local university so much? In no other city have I read such negative articles in the local paper about the local team.
Oh yes, I forgot about that wet-blanket chuck landon also. But doesn't Marshall deserve him? What has UCF done to the slantenal to deserve such negative to no coverage?
Agree. He is not a good writer. We could have much better support locally than the slant. Sometimes they come through...but not enough IMHO
