I found this article when looking for the thread about dorms in stadiums and I had to laugh.
Here's a Sentinel line from 1992 as FSU was about to build their new huge façade around Doak:
"Eventually, 600,000 square feet of beautiful Gothic architecture will envelope the steel stadium, push its seating from 60,519 to 72,123 and probably end all references to it as ''The World's Largest Erector Set.''
