Because UCF Parking Garages are obviously used for UCF Sporting Events (Football, Basketball and Baseball games, with some garages "bought" with donations or game day parking too), this would be a good move for not only UCF Students on a daily basis but also for fans/alumni coming to campus for events as well.
While cameras might be able to record crimes committed in these garages, just having them there (and even signs that they are under video surveillance) might even stop this criminal acts before they start.
With so many parking garages on campus today....with more people living on-campus than ever....plus with seemingly more and more "night classes" being offered, having cameras in garages seems like a fair request.
