LOL, I just clicked on the post-practice interview posted by the UConn Football Twitter. About one-minute in Diaco explains how he got his Huskies believing they could reach a bowl, thanks to Salt Life.
"We had lost three in a row at some point. I drew for them the logo, they're not a sponsor or anything but I think it's pretty cool because I'm a fisherman, Salt Life. So I hand drew the logo for them in the team meeting on the overhead. Salt Life. I talked about how you're not at the beach yet, but you're approaching the causeway with the windows down and you can feel and smell that ocean. If we can just get some wins, finish some games and turn the screw a little bit tighter, maybe we can live that Salt Life."
