I'll be heading to Las Vegas for a few days in December, about a week before Christmas Eve. This will be my third time in about a year. The first two trips I stayed on the strip (Paris and Cosmopolitan). This time I'm thinking about staying off the strip. I feel I've seen enough of the strip and Fremont area, want a more relaxed visit this time.
Anyone have any recommendations for good hotels, not too expensive, with lots of good non-touristy restaurants around?
