Cinci's current 27 yr old arena is basically a band box with mostly upper level bleacher seating with smaller removable side court sections.
UC is going to gut the "box" and make it a basketball arena with this $87 Million renovation..perfect for their upcoming membership in the Big 12...I mean their continued membership in the AAC.
This "right size" arena of approx 11,000 seats would be the perfect location for the AAC Tournament, especially with strong local tix sales.
