One school, who had basically zero Baseball success for almost 100 years, did something to turn it around.

For almost 50 years, this baseball program was stuck playing in an old minor league baseball stadium till 2004 (same old stadium where their football program played till 1998).

From the start of NCAA Regionals in 1947 till 2004, UL made it to one NCAA appearance.

In 2005, UL built a new 2,500 seat on-campus baseball stadium.

After 2006 season, UL hired then Ole Miss Asst Dan McConnell.

Starting in 2007, that began a string of success, which has lead to 7 NCAA Appearances (including 3 CWS appearances).

In 2013, UL expanded their baseball stadium to 4,000 seats and included a party deck above the grandstands on the 1st base side.

Stadium also includes a player's lounge, plus a film/team meeting room.

UL was obviously able to do this because they made sick $$ off their football and basketball program...as all of these facilities/improvements were before they received $1 from the ACC.

UL is in first place in the ACC (17-2) and has a 5 game lead over 2nd place FSU.
,
Maybe the most important move by UL...was their ability to keep their Coach for the past 8 years, away from some rich traditional and very successful programs.
