OT-WiFi HDMI for cable tv

I’m trying to get rid of some cables on my tv and have started looking at getting a Wi-Fi HDMI transmitter. I assume I can plug it in to my cable box and get the audio and sound in 4k? Is it worth the cost and is there a particular one I should get?
