Overturning the targetting call was absolutely correct.

When Thornton came in he was clearing aiming at the ball and dislodged it. There was no head shoulder of the receiver getting clocked.

I don't get why the announcers were so upset. And they acted like well if the receiver drops the ball, then it must be targetting.

Thornton expertly aimed at the ball and dislodged it. Great play And great overturned call.

Thought I saw incidental helmet to helmet contact.

IMO, it was because Andre Ware is a lousy analyst. Seriously. He truly is terrible. Now, he was a terrible quarterback for the Lions and a draft bust, but he is also a very, very sub-par analyst. I think that has a lot to do with it.

Totally agree!

The running into the punter call, however, was of the 15-yard roughing variety nine out of 10 times. That was a real head scratcher.

Worst i had ever seen. He was rambling how it was so much a targetting call even as the hit was announced clean, he kept disagreeing. Dude is a softie

I just couldn’t believe how offended he was about the overturning. I knew in real time the CB was aiming for the ball and got it. Complete master piece of work there.

I feel like we should send a softie toilet seat to Andre Ware.
