P6 has been a flop. I just did a google search on P6. All I could find were 5 (likely 'sponsored') articles on the interwebs from 2017. Status quo is not working. Kissing the cartel's ass is not working.
We need to pound the table on expanded playoffs , and talk a lot of trash about the cartel in the meantime. Strike while the iron is hot (i.e. UCF national championship). Controversy, dedication and passion will get results. Compliance, and placation has not (and will not).
So yes, speak out of both sides of our mouth. When necessary - play ball. When not - disrupt the landscape and get the conference where it needs to be - at the expense of the cartel.
