I found it interesting to learn that four of our country's biggest billionaires didn't play any taxes. But don't worry about corruption, it was all perfectly legal. Those guys don't pay expensive tax lawyers for nothing.

But our Usual Suspects would much rather berate a Black Welfare Mom and talk about the 'lower 50% of Americans who...gasp....are too poor to pay THEIR FAIR SHARE of taxes. But rag on Buffett, Bezos, Musk, or Zuckerburg for doing the same thing? PERISH THE THOUGHT!!!

This is especially noteworthy when the Republicans in Congress proclaim actually paying for our infrastructure investments by taxing these dudes and their rich 1% buddies is, and I quote, a "non-starter."

Once upon a time, Americans understood that paying our fair share of taxes is part of the American Way. Now? We've actually had a President who thinks it's 'smart' to avoid supporting our country with their taxes. You'd think that Bezos, of all people, would be stepping up to pay for our roads given how much his Amazon trucks use them.

You obviously saw this graphic and didn't even pay attention to how the math is pretty sketchy.

Nothing sketchy about the math on my taxes.

Whatever math you want to use, my percentages are higher. :)
If you made 125 bucks and paid 24 bucks in taxes, is that .1%? This is simple math that the MSM knows you won't do on your own because sheep.

Bezos paid almost a billion in taxes 😲

All you unproductive getting those covid checks should worship him.
20% in income tax seems reasonable. Now if we could only get the 49% of Americans that pay no tax to get on board with this we could pay for an infrastructure bill.

Raising Capital gains tax is the way you hit the ultra rich, not raising Income taxes. A small percentage of their income is earned income.
Now if you want to treat all income as earned income, That would be a different story, but politicians make too much inside trading to ever allow that to happen. The 4 Billionaires you speak of are all Democrats, and they do a very good job of taking care of the Political people who do their bidding.

LMAO. As of 2019, the bottom 50% of Americans have 1.67 trillion dollars which represents 1.6% of our nation's net worth. How much is taxing them 'their fair share' going to contribute to our infrastructure needs?

You guys should be able to figure it out. It's simple math.

That's payroll tax, not income tax.

Spoken wonderfully by a guy who probably pays minimal taxes
