This woman is an absolute moron.
The improvements on campus have absolutely nothing to do with the roads that are OFF CAMPUS AND UCF PROPERTY. Yet she seems to think that we should feel guilty for upgrading our stadium before putting some asinine pedestrian bridge over Alafaya.
Her entire article is a joke. She seems to think that Alafaya is some small road where flashing cross walks will work and where lowering the speed below 45 is acceptable. Which is stupid.
The 2 tragic deaths that have occurred with a car hitting a pedestrian both involved 1.) alcohol and 2.) kids completely outside of already designated crosswalks.
If kids aren't using crosswalks now, why would they walk hundreds of yards for a pedestrian bridge?
