Pelosi: Impeaching Trump Is ‘"Not Worth It"

WASHINGTON — Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California, who has played down talk of impeachment for months, ratcheted up her objections to trying to remove President Trump from office in an interview published on Monday.

“I’m not for impeachment,” Ms. Pelosi told The Washington Post Magazine in the interview, which was conducted last week.

“Impeachment is so divisive to the country that unless there’s something so compelling and overwhelming and bipartisan, I don’t think we should go down that path, because it divides the country,” she added. “And he’s just not worth it.”

So after all this time they realized they had absolutely nothing on him and are starting to realize that you cant win over people in the middle with a useless and divisive impeachment campaign heading into 2020 elections.

The real investigation should be looking into Schiff who coached Cohen for 10 hours and quite possibly coached him to lie (again) to Congress.
 
This has nothing to do with evidence, this is all about politics. The only things Trump and the Republicans are able to throw at the Democrats are: 1) they’re crazy socialists!!! and 2) they’re foaming at the mouth to impeach our dear President. Pelosi wants to take #2 off the table

Nancy doesn’t want the public to perceive that the House Democrats are getting ahead of themselves. The last thing the Dems want is to turn Trump into a maryter going into 2020. If they don’t have the votes in the Senate — and the don’t — then why jump start this process before the Mueller Report has even been delivered?

Oh, whoops. What's that? House Dems have already filed impeachment charges going back to 2016, all because they didn't like Trump?

Yep, that's correct. So much for "not getting ahead of themselves".

This is all about evidence. Pelosi knows what everyone is now coming to accept, that Mueller's investigation is going to find nothing by way of smoking gun on Trump and the work of putting away idiots like Cohen and Manafort is the extent of his findings. She knows that she'd look like an idiot if she was filing impeachment charges from her Shook House Members as the Mueller Report drops with a loud thud.

there is nothing in the mueller report and they know it. they are realizing they would alienate a big portion of middle of the isle people that will vote in 2020 against any dem if they try to impeach trump.

I thought it was specific to me for something I wrote. And then I was going to get pissed because there are faaaaaaarrrrr worse things said on here than what flows from my trolling hands.

I'm not seeing that. Maybe you pushed too far in the cooler. Brandon mentioned putting some people who were trouble makers in timeout.
 
Don't blame me I'm not making any decisions around here but I do agree that it's a good idea to filter the posts of some of our more abusive users.
 
The Democratic politicians know this will 'lower the bar' for impeachment going forward.
