Penn State 10 Temple 10 late 3rd quarter. ESPN

Look at the crowd. You mean Blake Bortles couldn't bring the same amount of fans in 2013?

What's up with Hack? I don't remember him being this bad when we faced off with Penn State

Hackenberg does look like he is flustered. Temple defense is just that good it appears. Hope they can pull this off.

Yeah apparently. 7 sacks and there's still 10 minutes left. If that's the case, it looks like they may have the best defense in the conference

Unfortunately, I am thinking the same thing. We play at their house on 10/17. Sucks.
Im sure they'll be licking their chops hoping to erase the memories of JJ Worton and the infamous catch. All of those games we escaped from in leading us to a 12-1 record in 2013 is coming back to haunt us i believe.

What are we doing wrong? 2 years after a Fiesta Bowl victory and Temple is that much better than us? It certainly looked that way today. I just can't see us beating them. Looking more
like a smackdown actually.

I'd sure like to know as well. How does a team that had everything going for it two years ago fall from grace so quickly? It's sad.

I think it's some key injuries/losses overall on the team (and i don't mean to graduation) and the offensive line. We need some big, bad,305-320 lb uglies with a mean streak to maul people in the run game.

Pass blocking is OK, but a lot of our lineman are taller and/or under 300lbs with a high center of gravity. They are getting no push/leverage.

Temple gave us a hard time two years ago and we needed Blake and the magic receivers to bail us out. You have to be naive to think they wouldn't get better. Yet we had injuries during that season and we shouldve expected to improve as well.

Simple. Talent. And now you see how little talent is needed to make a difference. Recruiting is very important and UCF will always lose players to big programs; less the ones that slip through like your Bortles and Smiths
