I wonder what they think about themselves when they get home. Pissed off some folks, raise a little blood pressure, maybe even throw out a personal insult. When they lay down to go to sleep, what do you think goes through their mind? Can a person completely numb themselves from shame and honestly be happy with hurting others?

They are dregs of society.

They seem to drop into places where there is racial division and burn things down

They go to bed thinking that they did good work.

Of course, they’re clueless about the broader effects of what they’re doing and so ignorance is bliss.

When it comes to trolling, do you think there's a level of satisfaction in it that's comparable to writing a thought-provoking post? I really have a hard time with understanding that. Doesn't there have to be some level of guilt in knowing that you've provoked somebody else just for the hell of it?

I really dont understand what your deal is lately. I asked an honest question and your response was to mock it, comparing theft and rioting to "trolling" a message board. We can definitely have an honest and productive conversation regardless of the politics on this board.

That thread is about what the mindset of people is when they do those things. Its fine if you don't have an opinion on it, but its not trolling when someone is trying to have an honest conversation.
