First-round wide receiver Breshad Perriman signed with the Ravens on Monday, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reports, via agent Drew Rosenhaus. The deal is for $8.7 million over four years with a $4.6 million signing bonus.

Not sure of the tax rate at that level. But I'm sure it's steep.

Do all professional sports in the U.S. have a luxury tax? I know the NBA does. Some professional basketball players prefer playing overseas to avoid paying it. I assume there is a similar tax in the NFL?

tax backet for that kind of money is close to 40%...plus hyou have to pay state income tax in every state you play a game in that has a state tax...I dont think agents charge 10%...thats too high...with rookie contra9ct...players are better off not hiring an agent.
