it was 50,000 just 2 days ago.

I hope the President responds by formally adopting the petition resolution. It's time the left wing activists are the SPLC are forced to admit left wing terrorism exists and label it.

Visit the WH petition site to sign it yourself.

Lol. Trump probably shouldn't do it but I'd love to see the left go even crazier with the RACIST!!! bullshit.

Sounds like a lot of snowflakes trying to shut down free speech with a stupid petition.

I didn't know that now it was a popularity contest who gets labeled a terrorist or not. Wonder how many likes NK and Isis have to get to get theirs removed

Just another blatant example of white privilege being waved in everyone's faces. Lots of microagressive little snowflakes who need a popularity contest safe space. SAD!

Snowflakes getting mad their favorite cop beaters are being called out

I am so confused....

So only if Bush and Obama would have had petition drives, we the citizens would have had a say in getting the Taliban, Al-Qaeda and ISIS labeled as very, very bad terrorist organizations?

Too bad the citizens didn't have this power back in 1916 or 1939 so USA could have helped our Allied friends during this World Wars and possibly ended those wars much sooner.

If Antifa are considered terrorists, so are countless other groups who hold rallies that have violence occur due to individual actions. They're only terrorists if the organization has systemic pushes for violence. All I've seen is counter protesting with individuals acting out because they're too amped up on Starbucks triple shot non-sugar caramel non-fat cappuchinos.

lol. Are you serious, brah?

Every single outing they partake in ends with some form of violence. Either a city is burned, cops are assaulted, or they outright brawl with the other side.

There appears to be no other intent of the group BUT violence.

Have they even killed anybody? What kind of Podunk wannabe terrorist organization can't even claim a single kill? ISIS should be outraged they are being insulted by being lumped together with this B squad.

I'm thinking if you bring a gas mask to a protest chances are you're not there to be peaceful.

So did many BLM protests. Does that make them terrorists as well? There's a difference between Civil Disobedience and Terrorism. Those who break the law in those protests are charged. Some people just like to take advantage of a situation to act out, that doesn't mean the entire crowd thinks that way.

Awwww.. you're assuming that citizens would have supported the Allied powers. I'm not sure they would've. The most famous celebrity at the time, Charles Lindbergh, was a Nazi sympathizer. Many, hundreds of thousands, didn't want us keep our Alliance with Britain.

Hear it in his own words.

Despite the BLM violence, they do have people in their ranks who speak out against it and are trying to craft a dialogue. Granted they're outweighed by the violent idiots.

Antifa is comprised of losers in masks who don't even pretend to have an objective beyond beating people up and assaulting cops.

Opportunists show up to BLM protest and riot. Antifa actually believes in violence. As such, I have no problem with them being put on this list. To be honest, I don't understand what they hope to accomplish with their tactics.

Neither do I, but I struggle with putting American Citizens on that list which opens them up to Patriot Act levels of surveillance. They're anti-fascists which is a perfectly acceptable cause. As long as their leadership is not advocating violence to further that cause, they should be addressed on an individual basis as crimes are committed.

Edit to add: I get nervous when we start labeling political groups terrorists. That's really the root of my concerns. To me, it has to be cut and dry and I'm not sure we're at that point.

I'll concede that since I haven't really followed their track record and they certainly seem to have a violent history. I'm going to pivot to a different aspect of this. I did a brief search for this "group" and it seems to be an amorphous group who are bound by an ideology. There's no real structure or leadership and it seems to be a decentralized loose organization. How do you determine who goes under terrorist surveillance? Does the government start tracking who attends political protests? Tracking internet traffic? I know I'm going to come across as paranoid, but there needs to be a pretty high bar to put a US Citizen under terrorist surveillance through Patriot Act methods.
