It's hard for me not to look at DeSantis and see the 2016 'frontrunner' Wisconsin Governor, Scott 'Not ready for Prime Time' Walker.

The only difference this time around is that it could well end up being a two-person race between DeSantis and Trump. A Trump primary win would guarantee the party's failure in 2024. (Did the GOP learn NOTHING from this year's elections??!?)

On the other hand, a DeSantis primary win would guarantee a 2024 convention that would make the Democrat Convention in 1968 look like a frickin' love-in.

The GOP is destined for a 'Damned if you do, damned if you don't' deal in 2024.
