I will always remember this day.
Back in October, 2013. My mother and I were hungry and stopped into BWW's on University. My mother was a fan of their wings. I had completely forgotten that GOL was doing his radio show and my mom became star-struck. After the show, I introduced my mother to GOL and they got locked in a conversation about Upstate New York, and my mother living on the "rich side of Long Island Sound" (Connecticut). It was a good 5 minute or so conversation. When my mother was in the hospital for her marrow stem-cell transplant. Via Kvatek, GOL signed a football (shown in previous post) and sent to my mom. It was a little thing...but it was big to her. I wanted to take this time to say thank you to O'Leary for everything he has done OFF the field as so much has been focused on what he has done ON the field lately. This sets him apart from most coaches I believe.
