Plumlee has the IT factor.

Really would have liked him to pick out more slant passes and short hook style passes. Seems like it was mostly a screen, skinny post or straight deep. Glad coach gave him the whole game to get real reps in. His speed is amazing and seems built tough too. Should be an exciting year. We will know much more after the loui game

He had a hard time reading the zone D. He had some good thread the needle throws but good defenses would have broke them up. Quite a few drops as well. Hope was just rust on the guys.

A lot of times though he didn't have any time to read the defense. I thought he played great I think the O-Line has some concerns. Hope i'm wrong.

I think youre right. The small mistakes he did make are very correctable on film. He had early success throwing downfield and then when they went zone he needed to take the undrrneath throws instead.

I was waiting for a "not so fast" remark from Corso to Beano! :p

Go listen to Plumlee post game interview he admits making mistakes and going to correct them. He did miss some underneath wide open receivers while throwing it downfield. Gus was after him a couple times when coming off the field after a missed pass. Last night was a perferct, get-the-kinks out game. Louisville should be a fun game.

Moving tackles to guard position may not be the final answer. I've been thinking about some of the plays that Plumlee made avoiding the rush today. Don't think we have a QB who can do this right now other than freshman who is just getting use to college game. Plumlee had a great first game to work off of and get better from. I noticed the spin on his throws seemed a little hard to catch when he was scrambling and passing under pressure. He'll improve this I'm sure.
