With UCF having a relatively
young fan base, the opportunity for future giving is exponential with our
number of alumni. Most schools have generations of established alumni, multiple
endowments, restricted/unrestricted gifts to athletics etc. Other schools have
generations of individuals that grew up watching and attending athletic events
as to where UCF barely has 3 generations of fans. With that being said, it
seems as though many of our season ticket holders only give what is required of
their seating assignment for football/basketball season tickets and we have
very few donors who go above & beyond.
I know
this has been a hot topic of debate in the GKC only going after our biggest
donors, however, do you feel based on your experience with UCF Athletics that
you would one day want to go above and beyond if you had the means necessary.
