UFC is way better. Shows the person is completely ignorant and can't even get their sports correct.

That's nice......but the school administration should go with a more contemporary name. I'd go with UF'B, University of F 'Bama
I always thought it would be cool to be the University of Florida Orlando and then we be the UFO's and we can have an alien as a mascot. The stadium could be the mothership and every away game is an alien invasion. Plays well into the whole space coast theme. Just think how wild we could make the uniforms or the field? I also think it would help with recruiting and name recognition.
One more thing...when opposing fan bases accuse of of being illegal aliens we can correct them and be PC and say no, we are undocumented national champions!

My 11 year old continues to say UFC even though I constantly talk about UCF and no one in our home ever even mentions UFC.
How about University of Florida State University of Central Florida or UFSUCF for short....It would certainly cover every possible angle for admission to a larger conference.
