Poor USF..again we are their season goal

http://www.thebullspen.com/topic/106832-what-to-look-forward-too/

This was their year and they got taken down by Temple.
USF is pathetic. That's the reason why they have no compass in terms of growing their athletics program or fan base. Those idiots have never won one conference title and they're worried about getting to a New Year's Day bowl like UCF. It's the attitude of their entire fanbase and that's why they suck. You have to learn how to crawl before you walk.

Worst thing that happened to them was getting moved up to the Big East and them developing this overly superior attitude about themselves that was just simply false. I feel as though UCF would've made more of that opportunity and USF did nothing with it really.

USF, just hasn't learned that you got to learn how to do small things well before you can do big things well.

I mean in a little self reflection, there were people on this board talking about how we could win the conference after a single conference win at ECU. I do agree with you though.

Keep in mind there were only a FEW of the folks on this board that like to dream big vs a MAJORITY of the "fans" on their board that believed it was their teams calling.

There is a big difference between having pride in something vs being undersevidly egotistical about it.

But it seems that it is the FEW that yell the loudest. Losing is disappointing but I always tell myself that it is just a game and they are kids :D . Except when our defense is that horrible and it is clearly a coaching problem.
Honestly I was starting to look forward to the UCF game when I saw the improvements you guys were making. It is going to be a good game (hopefully).

Funny stuff, plenty of games ahead UCF and USF need to focus on
And a decimated defensive line, a vanishing run game, and no bye weeks ahead. At least there'll be lots of home cooking, but UCF seems to play its best on the road this season.

With teams like Houston and USF stumbling, the AAC is the most wide-open and exciting conference chase happening in college football.
The East isnt very wide open. Temple would have to lose twice and they have crap on their schedule. Navy is in the drivers seat in the West now that Houston lost again.

It's not who you would have expected in the title game, but the chase isnt that exciting.

Temple, USF, and UCF all have one conference loss. Since Temple has the head to head victory over both teams they would have to lose just one more and one of the others win out to not go to the CCG.

They have 4 more games, all during late fall weather. At UConn could be a storm -- we had a bare taste of what they could have to play in. Tulsa is a very good team who can beat anyone, especially at home. Cincy and ECU are always dangerous in our even conference which is only half over for Temple. We have to take care of business and see what happens. Same with USF. At least we have a defense.
