The first home game in the Big 12 era for the UCF Knights started out with a bang. Explosive plays on offense and a tough defense saw the Knights jump out to a 35-10 lead in the 3rd quarter. However, a series of mistakes and errors, coupled with sharp execution from Baylor, saw the Bears score the next 26 points and win the game 36-35. After, coach Gus Malzahn, coordinators Darin Hinshaw, Addison Williams, and senior TE Alec Holler spoke to the media.
