On Temple's long punt return that led to their go-ahead score:
"We put the ball where you can't put it, in the middle of the field, then we missed three tackles. Good play by the young kid, but again, that was poor placement by our punter. He knew that. You can't do that. We didn't cover the way we need to cover."
On the muffed punt recoveries:
"We did a great job as far as getting muffs and getting great field position. We just didn't make any hay out of it, didn't get any points off of it, so that hurt there. I think the big thing is the kids' effort was good. When you get opportunities you've got to take advantage of it."
