In the unlikely event that GOL gets canned by Hitt, who would be some ideal replacements? I'll start us off:
•DJ Durkin: Not only has he led excellent defenses at Florida and Michigan, he was the National recruiter of the year in 2012. AT FLORIDA. Which is the state we live in. Need I say more?
•Geoff Collins: Has connections to UCF and also leads great defenses, seems like a fantastic motivator (unlike a certain someone.)
•Charlie Strong: I know he's another defensive guy and he might have saved himself today, but he's still had success and he's a great recruiter. I'd probably prefer Durkin or Collins though.
Durkin is my ideal candidate, but who knows if UCF can even afford these guys? It's also not a given that GOL is gone after this season. Thoughts?
