Is it just me or is the whole thing kind of a weird concept? I get the idea of wanting to be referred to directly as (x), but pronouns like he, she, his, her, etc are 3rd person words that really wouldn't be used directly towards a person. Why would somebody care if they refer to you as "she" or "he" when obviously they arent talking to you when they use the term?

These show up in people's work signatures a lot these days. I often wonder if they expect you to write this down? Commit it to memory? Make a note in Outlook that these are the ways by which they want to be referred? What exactly are you to do with this information? Because if you think about it, just how many times are you actually in a position to use these pronouns, especially if you use the person's name almost exclusively?

And everyone is a "they" regardless of gender or perception. Shakespeare proved this. It's a default and in short, fukc you if you're too stupid to understand this.
So why is it a thing?

Who cares? Why does it bother you?
There are people, and children, with gender identity issues that you "normal" people couldn't possibly understand. Why can't you just NOT be an asshole and do them a simple and small favor by referring to them in a pronoun they feel comfortable with?

Male, Female, He, She, Him, Her, Boy, Girl, Man, Woman, Guy, Gal, lots of genders..

mental illness is neither a badge of courage nor something to be enabled and encouraged.

also, nobody believes that the same people who can't talk about President Trump's supporters without using some combination of "inbred" or "MAGAt" really cares about being respectful to people unlike them.

nice try, retard.

Why do you care? It doesn't affect your life in any way.

Anorexic and bipolar people don't affect me either. the difference is, those mentally ill people aren't trying to change the rules of language.

Even then, it's not even so much the language that affects me, and if trannies are honest they probably don't care either.

They are by and large weak, physically and mentally. They have lost control of most aspects of their lives due to their own identity crisis. To compensate, they're trying to exert some form of control over others so they can avoid the bigger problem being that they don't even accept themselves.

To put it in terms for lefties to empathize with, what if every 3-toothed Trump supporter borne of WalMart & Mountain Dew started insisting you refer to them as King? Is it your place to say they don't identify as a King? Does it really affect you?

Humans really aren't that special, and in the grand scheme of things not terribly far removed from being animals. Animals have an innate ability to identify male and female, and no other animal species has this whole denial of identity and biology thing.

This is by far the most tolerant generation, and in the face of it, these so-called "marginalized groups" have done nothing but throw sucker punches at every chance they get in order to prove themselves impervious to criticism from normal people wanting to just live their lives.

Continuing to trend in this direction is going to lead to a lot of radicalization, and its gonna be funny when that comes to fruition.
