UCF men's head basketball coach Johnny Dawkins met with the media to preview the 2023-24 season, the Knights first in the Big 12. Coach Dawkins understands the challenge in front of the program as they step into arguably the best basketball conference in the country.
This Knights team features 10 new players, plus a few key returners such as Darius Johnson and CJ Walker. Perhaps some good fortune for the Knights, the early part of the schedule has them playing every non-conference game in the state of Florida. After that though, the Big 12 gauntlet begins with games against Kansas State and Kansas.
