He enrolls next week for Summer A. Just got off the phone with him, will have an interview coming. GOL did indicate at the Huddle that the QB depth behind Holman was undetermined and added that he wouldn't have brought in a QB for Summer A if he didn't think he could compete immediately.
Not to say any true freshman is going to beat out an incumbent starter, but if Schneider adjusts quickly and is as good as advertised, I think he does have a shot to be the backup. But while that may be the case, it's hard to see him actually playing unless it was absolutely necessary. We'll see what happens. You'd rather not burn a redshirt year if you didn't have to.
