i have downloaded like 10 different Apps. THeyre all pointless. QR ads are pointless.

I spent about $1k in 2013 in effort to put labels on all contract machines for ordering supplies and service.
Of about 500 machines in that program we got 7 orders over 6 months via QR.

I have a friend with a company myqrad.com with tracking and what not - fewr than 10% were ever scanned for any reason,

I have QR Droid. I have used it once. It was free. It worked, but as others have mentioned, QR codes are worthless.

I was once told by an advertising exec to never scan QR codes. They grab/track stuff from your phone you probably don't want.

Not all - MOST QR codes are simply a barcode with a destination and are created for free without tracking capabilities.

We used them for a real estate chain for people to get virtual tours of properties. It was a steaming pile.
