Quan Lee Inks Third NIL Deal, Ca$hing in on Hard Work

Incoming UCF Football freshman wide receiver Quan Lee has inked his third NIL deal, this time with Your Brand Voice.

This kid is motivated. I have to say I was not a fan initially when there was all the drama with Miami, but I a coming around. I also think that if he does well at UCF he will be shopping his services, but I guess that is the new normal.

Let's just hope he isn't disruptive if it ends up he's not ready. Best thing for us is that he establishes himself in the two deep early on

If he's looking to do well with NIL, he's going to be wanting the ball early and often.

Yep, it’ll be interesting how coaches across the country deal with these pressures moving forward, in terms of playing guys early who have big money behind them.. even if they may not be ready. I think there’s a good chance this particular player doesn’t see out his whole career with UCF… either because of not seeing significant early playing time, or playing so well that he wants to shop his services to bigger schools. The new normal, which is ok… I’m all for player empowerment. We just need to continue to be vigilant getting players back on the other side, which we have done well so far.

It does seem that this will be an issue going forward for all programs. We can only hope that Gus and staff will be adept in responding to the challenges that it presents. Also, while there are no guarantees, putting a winning product on the field also can play a big part in the retention rate of key players.

Pretty soon the phrase will change to “Next Millionaire Up”

The local Lamborghini dealer should start building relationships now....no 9 years of scrimping and saving for these guys.
