Sorry if this has been addressed in the other threads-- He is obviously a rising star and has a lot of connections. I assume his dream job is ND. My question is: How long will he be here? If he gets us turned around and the department is in great shape in a few years, it is inevitable he will be moving on, but that scenario is perfectly fine. But would he leave next year if a plum P5 job opened up and wanted him? I guess those are the perils of hiring a shooting star when you're not quite at the top of the ladder like us
