Question: Would hiring a Big 12 person as UCF Head Coach be advantageous?

You know what would be advantageous? Hiring someone like Wilson from LSU who can recruit and win.

Lol now the shortcut is hiring people with big 12 pedigree? Jesus how about putting together consecutive great seasons?

Last I remember the Big12 doesn't put labels on their coaches. "Big12 Certified, Guaranteed Fresh". No, having a coach with Big12 experience doesn't move the needle. AD? Maybe.

A quality AD with B12 ties would be good. Head coach, don't think it matters, just need a high energy winner/recruiter. Who will maintain the high expectations that we now have on academics.

Maintaining standards on academics is just lip service. Unless we hire a former HC who can prove he held up graduation numbers then it won't matter. I would like for the kids to graduate FWIW
