Quitters

When only 11 of 34 recruits in the last 2 years are from the State of Florida under GOL you don't have the usual fire in a Natural Rivalry game bc most of these guys didn't play HS football against USF players like other FL rivalries

The next Head Coach needs to make this a f*ing Florida Program

Preach on!!!!

We are all winners on the board, watching until the bitter end. ChargeOn! I've never given up on the Knights... lol.

I hope I never see any of those players in black and gold again. I'd tell them to go **** themselves but they would probably **** up the fundamentals of that and quit halfway through too
new coach needs to process a few of these guys off the Program. Do the Saban not medically cleared trick till they transfer to University of Maine

I thought it was clear all season we lacked athleticism all over the field. It looked like all our guys were in the middle of a bulking season and forgot to cut before the season. That being said, our bigger guys weren't even that strong which could be seen in our lack of a running game and running defense. We just didn't plat smart football either. The safeties took awful angles on plays routinely throughout the year.

We were young, inexperienced, injured, and head coachless essentially the entire year since everyone in-the-know knew GOL was a lame duck heading into 2015. What coaching the kids did get was poor and half-ass. I expect the next regime comes in here and takes a few names, kicks a few asses in gear, and has this team competitive in 2016.

Holman was horrible for much of the game and it does have a major impact on others.
His arm is strong but his ability to sustain a drive and make a play isn't there.
Also, the defense doesn't swarm and is making first contact after 5 yards of positive gain.

I actually thought your guys (UCF) played very hard last night. Sitting near the field level, there was such a difference in size of the players. My son commented that UCF looks like a high school team. I know your guys are young, but most of USF's starters are sophs too. O'Leary definitely left your program worse than Skippy left ours. I do respect that a decent amount of UCF fans did support the team to the end.

Yep. The defensive ends are way too light, the middle linebacker is under 6 feet and under 230, No Plummer here on this team.

The DBs are thin and don't want to take on contact and ring someone's bell. No Ismael on this team.

On top of that, there aren't exactly any speedsters in the front 7.

The defense has regressed throughout the season, and again some promising
players have just vanished.

Either quit the team or are injured.

So many times players we were missing defensive assignments, in the wrong position, or being basically juked. Very little impressive open field tackling. Lots of "whiffs". Flowers made the defense look weak, slow, and unathletic. Moved the pile a few times and fell forward for extra yardage after initial contact on more than one play.

That's the way I saw it.

especially the DTs and LBs. There is definitely a talent issue on that side of the ball.

I guess calling Tacko a stiff is somehow infinitely worse than what's being said about the entire football team.

No doubt about it!!!!! It probably happened before GOL left

Best post of the year, unfortunately the honest truth

Screw us fans, they gave up on one another

Can say the same thing about you....8 years waiting to post and this is your best shot? Pathetic.......

Nice try shart knight. I used to post all the time, but haven't since rivals updated their system. Thus showing no post in my time on the board. I felt it was worthy to post after the piss poor effort these past 2 games. We lost just as bad all season, but at least the effort was there. Losing doesn't bother me nearly as bad as giving up. That's just inexcusable. Fortunately, a page has been turned and I'm excited for the future. See you in 8 years :)

Did this really seem like a rivalry game to the UCF fans while it was being played? I guess it doesn't have to seem like it. It just is. I just didn't see the same emotion from either team and I have seen them all. USF played like it was just a game and went out and played as taking care of business but I didn't see a lot of emotion as I have seen them play before.

Did lots of things happen when we lost our first game to fui?

That made us 0-1. How did you go from 8-4 to talking about our first loss?

After I predicted 8-4 was before i knew Stanback was doing drugs, Chris Williams got shot, Anderson tore an ACL. All after many posters predictions

Then the wheels fell off. So.., what's your point here??? If everything didn't go wrong would we be 8-4? Probably not, but certainly not 0-12.

Considering he is still injured, Holman is still Horrible. I thought they brought him here to Run the ball?

They had a list of the most freshman starting on a team. 1) UCF 2) Kansas

3)TCU

what?

Losing 15 scholarship players to sanctions hurt too. Then perfect storm of injuries. Say 3-4 of those were solid OL/DL maybe would be enough to get at least 3-4 wins. Depth is huge.

We are talking about size too. Of course usf was bigger. We have nearly all freshman out there and Rae is way undersized. We will be back to 25 scholarships so in 2 years we can get our depth back.

It didn't feel like a rivalry because the fans weren't into it. UCF had a decent showing, but no one was excited because it was a guaranteed loss. USF brought maybe 3,000 ppl. It's just hard to get excited for bad football on Thanksgiving no less.

I don't like it with the football team either since they are risking injury for near nothing. For Tacko, the guy has only played 3 college games and is far from a stiff but you're going to hold on to bad mouthing him. I don't see you bad mouthing any other freshman basketball players.

It would have been a good feel for the game if we were decent this year and fighting for the conference title. Likely a sellout
