How much were the gold and silver VIP's? Tampa hasn't gone on sale yet

I'm seeing them in VA at the end of this month.

Brahman, this is white people music. There's no need for you to be on this thread with us.

Screw the haters. This was simply an amazing show. Especially for long time fans. Jets, you are in for a treat.

It still amazes me that a bunch of grandfathers kick more ass on stage than most acts on the road.

I was at Ferg's watching the Lightning game when some Rush fans came over after the concert. I asked them how it was and they of course told me how super awesome it was. They then asked in disbelief why I didn't go, and I said I didn't like listening to dudes with girl voices. They weren't amused.

Dude, show was awesome!!!!! Still, I'm disappointed they didn't play "Limelight".

I went to a Cars & Coffee event yesterday and all these older dudes looked hungover as fukc. I went up to them and asked "Rush concert?". They all laughed and said how awesome it was.

They have 3 different set lists and Limelight isn't on any of them. You saw the same set that we did in Tampa with a bonus song that the other 2 don't have.

The second half of the show was beyond great. I loved the overall theme of the show and how they presented it. Seeing Tyrion Lannister and the TPB was really cool.

I saw The Bad Plus perform a cover of Tom Sawyer once. They announced the song as the Canadian national anthem.

One of the Rush fags came out against libertarian politics originally being a proponent... (Rolling Stone picked it up, since the discredit Rand train is in full swing since he can actually defeat Hillary in the swing states) That was the tipping point from accepting & nodding @ "Rush guy" but their music isn't good enough for them to come off my shit list despite their idiotic politics... Nothing but a mole on the ass of classic rock to me.

I'm going to be so happy when something very bad happens to you for saying stupid fukcing shit like this. Sooooooo happy.

This is moronic.

If I stopped listening to every band that didn't align with me politically I'd have crossed off a shit ton of really good bands. Frankly I don't give a shit what a band does or doesn't think about politics. My only interaction with them is what they put on an album and if I like it or not.

If you're picking your entertainment choices based upon wehther or not they're libertarian mouth puppets then you're going to be sorely in need or something to watch or listen to.

It's just a tipping point for mediocre bands (Green Day they can fukc themselves) or in Rush's case, God tier overrated . I like tons of flaming lefty stuff.

Like most classic rock (104.1 on the weekends) Zeppelin (fanatic), Allman Bros, black crowes, stevie ray vaughn, Pink Floyd, Claptons groups (cream, Derek & the dominoes) & solo, skynyrd, black sabbath, grand funk railroad, Doors etc.

Newer wise mostly alt rock (black keys, alabama shakes). Lot of great 90s alt rock. Healthy dose of urban stuff as well.

Be prepared to face some unmitigated shit from Jets for Clapton.

99% of the people who don't like Rush don't like them because of Lee's voice. That's fine. It's not for everyone. Musically speaking, they are one of the best bands that have hit a stage. Especially Peart. Ask any classical percussionist and they completely and totally respect the hell out of that guy. He has continued to mold his craft by studying jazz and he's gotten really good at that genre.

Yeah lead singers voice is obnoxious. But another huge deal breaker is the synths. Just sounds like even longer gayer versions of Journey & Styx (another pair of bands I've seen). Should mention seen a ton of classic rock shows through years.

Meh jets is plain old wrong there. Cream still sound excellent as does:

Lot of quality EC (as well as much of shit I don't) seen him as well.

Do you like Yes and/or Jethro Tull? Yes's "Roundabout" and Close to the Edge album are absolutely great. I love Tull as well.

Haha I actually saw Frampton Styx & REO in the same show. Meh great music when I was 12-13 or whatever still sounds good.

Please give us some examples of the bands that you like.
Claptons groups
GET THE FUKC OUT OF HERE WITH THAT WEAK ASS BULLSHIT YOU KIDDING ME!!!!!!!!!!

Eric Clapton is the most overrated piece of shit excuse for a musician that has ever walk the face of the earth. Brittney Spears has more musical talent in her left vagina lip than Clapton. Clapton sucks. Like, sucks ass. There's not even one good song. Not even one!!!!!!!!

Thanks for proving my theory that your musical taste sucks ass and that's why you're too musically ignorant to comprehend the grandiousness that is a band of virtuosos such as Rush.

LOL

Clapton sucks? I'm not even a Clapton fan but as a guitarist it's absurd to say the guy sucks. It's other wordly to say he's comparable to Brittney Spears, unless that's just a really massive troll attempt.

On another note, have you heard the band High on Fire? I just started listening to their new-ish album and it's badass. Kind of like stoner/doom metal meets thrash.

LOL, yeah, the Britney jab is just #trolling, but I haven't heard one note coming from that hack's hands that makes me feel like he's a good guitarrist, let alone musician. Nothing, absolutely nothing he's ever made resonates with me. His technique is poor. His sound is ordinary. I bet you that I can figure out his entire musical catalog during any given Sunday afternnon in between playing rounds of Battlefield. You can sell millions of records and still suck. Case in point: Britney Spears. Fukc it, I'm going to start a petition to remove Eric Clapton from this planet because I find his lack of technique and his sound offensive.

I haven't heard that band. Right now, I'm stuck on Dirty Loops (no matter how good any of us will be, we'll never be as good as Dirty Loops. We can all go kill ourselves and chop our fingers off now) and Disperse.
