It's a books long subject & not a one size fits all definition (Zionist or Israel firster). I'll give you a succint meme below & a real world example from a lovely couple of Jews I worked for. Great industrious husband & wife I learned a lot from. One lunch, one of them informed me she celebrated some Israel soldier holiday. I only found this out because I asked her to clarify if it was celebrating Jewish soldiers who fought for America or Israeli soldiers who fought for Israel. Of course it was was the latter. Her husband was more of a neocon trending libertarian gave exactly 0 shits, but did whatever she wanted. She was a HUGE bleeding heart liberal Democrat so i didn't get her love affair w the Israeli military.
First let me say your story is complete bullshit. No one I know would say they "lovely couple of Jews" they would say lovely Jewish couple. My experience is when someone calls people "Jews" instead of Jewish in the pretense that you used, they are more likely to use the term is distain. Second, you use some dumb ass picture to try to prove your point, might be the dumbest argument I've seen in a while. I know three types of Jewish people, the conservatives, the orthodox and reform. The reform Jews tend to be liberal, democrats wanting to change the religion into Jewish lite, reform Jews don't read Hebrew or use little of it in their services. Conservative Jews tend to be more republican, read Hebrew and use it in all their services, Orthodox Jews tend to be more of your firebrand, radical hardcore types. You flat out blamed the stickers on Jews, that has nothing to do with Zionism, that is just looking to blame Jews for anti-semitism.
Now the way you describe it, any Jew that supports Israel is a Zionist. Are you calling all of Israel unethical? Are you calling any Jewish person that is not part of the reform movement unethical? That is like calling all baptist unethical, all Catholics that disagree with the pope unethical. I support Israel because of the history of the Jewish people. Make no mistake about it, I am an American first and foremost but I support largely like an Italian born American would support Italy. I am old enough to remember the stories of my grandparents talking about the holocaust. No other people in the history of the world have endured such hatred so yes I support a place where they can defend themselves.
Now unlike your BS story you gave, let me give you a real story. It was the week of the republican convention in Tampa, 2011. My wife and I and four friends were at Taps in downtown Tampa. In walked a group of ten or so people. Most of the people were young, in their early to mid 20's and one guy that appeared to be older, mid to late 30's. They were all Ron Paul supports and they were talking about how they just got into one of the rounds of the republican forums in the Forum, they were all very nice and engaging. They really wanted to talk to anyone that would listen to them. Four or five of them started talking to us and they were telling us why they supported Ron Paul and why we should as well. They all had the exact same talking points, the same answer to every question we asked. The only problem was they could only answer questions, not follow up questions to their answers. They really stumbled when you asked them about their isolation stance in terms of the modern day economy and ease of international travel. When one of them ran into trouble answering questions the older guy would come around and step in. He was much more seasoned, knew how to answer the questions and how to deflect the questions. He was clearly the leader of the group. We came to find out that he was a college professor from California and the younger people were students who traveled all they way to Tampa to support Paul. After they left all of us had the same comment, it was like talking to cult members. They were programmed to answer questions and their responses were rehursed.
This is who you are, you have canned answers to questions and you have no idea what you're talk g about. The difference between you and them is I didn't take them as anti-Semitic like you. You use key words like "Zionist" to hide your hatred of Jews but it does not work. It's like the racist saying there are two types of black people, the N word type and black people. Anyone that says that is racist, anyone that says there are two types of Jews, Zionist and the rest are no different. I usually find those that are racist find themselves as inferior, I find that those that are anti-semetic are blaming their failures in life on someone else.
