Rannell Hall Makes Bucs' 53 Man Roster

Jacoby Glenn made Da Bears. It looks like Plummer got cut by the Redskins. Of the three, I thought he would be the one to make the final cut.

Congratulations, Speedy!!

Both Hall and Humphries were both rookie free agents.

None of the 2 WR's the Bucs selected are on the 53 man roster:

5th round pick WR Kenny Bell placed on Injured Reserve

6th round pick WR Kaelin Clay was cut.

No doubt putting Bell on IR helped either Hall or Humphries make the final roster. (NFLPA has stated that they disagreed with the Buc's decision to play Bell on IR for the season...saying Bucs are just "redshirting" him while protecting his rights, even though Bell could have probably played later on this season).

I hope Speedy is able to hang on to that spot over the weekend...the Bucs have let it be know that, as #1 on the waiver claim list, they will be making further changes...and those acquisitions will be announced shortly

Rannell has certainly opened their eyes and his practice/play has earned his roster spot...fingers crossed

Hopefully Hall can really be back to 100%...as that will probably be the key if he stays or gets waived in coming weeks.

if Speedy doesn't get claimed by another team, let's hope he'll be signed to the Bucs practice squad
I'm not completely up on NFL rules, but I think you're right about the ordering. Because Speedy was on the 53 man roster, even for just a couple hours, now every other team gets a chance to put him on their roster. For some reason, I think the bucs get first crack at putting him on their practice squad.
