OK, think I have most of them.....some very productive, some I never saw (all the F grades). No reflection of future potential, we certainly appreciate their effort. If some of these guys played just special teams, I didn't notice.

Joey Gatewood - Did what he could, just not much there C-
Woody Barrett - F
Isiah Bowser - Injured too much B-
Mark-Anthony Richards - Came on late B-
Nate Craig-Myers - Really thought he would see the field more D
Brandon Johnson - Good contributer A-
Jordan Johnson - Really thought he would see the field more D
Dionte Marks - D
Ricky Barber - Look forward to more A-
Big Kat Bryant - As advertised IMO A
Hirkley Latu - F
Bryson Armstrong - Better than advertised A-
Marco Domio - C-
Jayden Francois F
Ryker Casey F

Nice topic!!
I agree with most of your grades. I still can’t believe how bad Gatewood was, on paper he is the perfect fit to run this offense. He really fits the saying…Looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane.
Really puzzled about Jordan Johnson and Jaiden Francois, thought those 2 would be high impact players, hopefully next year they make an impact.

I'd drop Big Kat Bryant to a B. I don't think he was an impressive as I had hoped. Not to mention those 2 bone head offsides penalties in the USF game.
He was amped and aggressive for a rivalry game he had no history in so I can appreciate that.

For me, bonehead plays are personal fouls, and dumb pass interference plays....or most things Timmy McClain did the other day.

Big Kat had the snap count down, he just got caught a couple times being too overzealous. I’m ok with aggressive mistakes, for the most part.

Did the LB from BYU even make the team? We literally had like no LB’s the last few games and didn’t see him on the field. Also Jarvis Ware from Missouri, pretty sure he was out with an injury suffered at Missouri. Can never have enough 6’1 CB’s so hopefully he can play next year.

Looks pretty accurate to me. Although I'd be a little more sympathetic to those who didn't play due to an injury like Marks

Was Marks hurt? Was wondering why he didn’t play. Ware was another who would have been a sure lock to start at CB. His injury sucked, forgot all about him. Amazing how many injuries we had.

Yeah Gus mentioned it in a recent presser in the last month.

Except for Armstrong (C). A lot of heart but he was getting burned for most of the year. He started playing a little better before his injury but that is what happens most of the time with 1 year guys….this isn’t the NFL where the guys are that good to make an impact. Gotta imagine he was by a good locker room guy.

He made a lot of tackles but a lot were 10 yards past LOS. In his last game he attempted to tackle the running back about 40 yards downfield and he wasn’t close to getting him to ground. Looked like a matador led him with a red flag.

Would give Joey a D at best.

Agreed. I would have loved to have seen Gatewood in for a solid half at least, passing and running. It wasn’t like Keene was lighting the world on fire.

It’s not Gatewood’s fault he was brought in cold for a single run play here and there.

Coach must have had a reason for that don't you think?

Keene needs snaps... All of the snaps to get better.
Nah, anything he needed to learn from that game was in the first half. Gus should have been thinking ahead....what happens if Keene gets hurt in the first series of the bowl game? O'Keefe has more completions than anyone else.

That’s not true, Gabriel has more than anyone else *

Brandon Johnson tied the single season td record at UCF and you gave him an A-? Haha man deserves an A+
Great at catching touchdowns but only caught 38 balls for 565 yards....he just tended to disappear at times during games.

Maybe if he stayed in Keene's range, 2-3 yards behind the line of scrimmage. Once somebody went 5-10 yards down the field, they might as well be on a different planet.

Now that's a little harsh!

True that...LOL

Maybe had something to do with a qb who couldn’t throw anything but a wr bubble screen?
