Coming in on a three game losing streak, the UCF Knights got an early spark against 9th ranked Iowa State thanks to long TD runs from RB RJ Harvey and QB Jacurri Brown. Then on defense, two big interceptions from CB Brandon Adams and S Braeden Marshall put UCF in a good position to win the game. However, as the game wore on, Iowa State converted several 3rd and 4th down attempts, and made just enough plays down the stretch to score the go ahead TD with under a minute on the clock.

As Head Coach Gus Malzahn said, "it stinks". For Iowa State, this win keeps them undefeated on the season, but Head Coach Matt Campbell knows that his team will need to make corrections moving forward.
